Our vision

Access Club

Access Club runs each Friday evening (during school term times—see what’s on page) at Parr Street Evangelical Church from 6.45pm—8.00pm (for those in school years 7—9 and 8.15pm—9.30pm (for those in school years 10—11).

At Access Club we have a relaxed atmosphere through the taking part in fun games and activities.  Each week tends to have a theme of some kind such as ‘foods from around the world week’ where the young people were asked to come dressed to represent a country while foods from different countries were served.  In October 2008 we had a talent show entitled  ‘Parr Street’s Got Talent’.  We occasionally have trips out (recently we had an evening out at laser Quest).  Each week there is a 20 minute Bible-based talk aimed to challenge and inspire the young people.

Sunday morning group

During the first morning church service of each month (morning services are 10.30am—11.30am) the young people will leave about 10 minutes into service to h

ave a Bible study at a home local to the church.

About us

Vision

Vision runs on Sunday evenings (during school term time) usually at Parr Street Evangelical Church from 7.45pm—9.00pm following the evening church service (6.30pm—7.30pm).  The young people are encouraged to attend the evening church service then re-group for Vision.

At Vision we tend to play fun games and have activities every so often such as ‘smoothie night’ or ‘pizza night’.  Vision provides an opportunity to take a deeper look into the Bible through a short study.  Recently we have looked at ‘what is prayer?’ and ‘How can we trust the Bible?’.  Vision is a great way to prepare for the week ahead!

Drop-in

Drop-in is open from 3.45pm—5.00pm on Wednesdays during school term time again at Parr Street Evangelical Church.  Young people are welcome to visit on their way home from school to socialize with friends, play games or catch up on homework.

Deeper

Every two weeks straight after drop-in from 5.00pm—6.30pm there is Deeper which is a Bible-study that helps young people take a deeper look into what the Bible says and this is usually followed by a meal.  Please see what’s on for information on dates etc.
